The Christian Leadership College (CLC) held its 17th Graduation and Matriculation Ceremony on Saturday 10th December 2022.
The ceremony took place at the Judah Temple of Royalhouse Chapel International, Ahenfie.
The Christian Leadership College was founded in April 2001 out of the vision of the President and Founder of Royalhouse Chapel International, the Apostle General Sam Korankye-Ankrah, to train and equip men and women of God to transform the world through the gospel and for effective leadership.
The College has trained and graduated hundreds of students dedicated to expanding the Kingdom business as ministers of the gospel and providing leadership in various endeavors of their careers in this nation and beyond.
In the address of the Principal, Rev. Mrs. Sally Julie Armah, she made known some of the challenges they are currently facing, "Between the years 2001 and 2022, we have had a low turnout of students due to the economic hardship in the country.
The year has been very challenging for the students since the majority are not gainfully employed. The result was that some could not finish what they had begun."
She said despite the challenges, students were able to undertake their practical service (Royal Service).
Also, one the student gained admission to Nottingham to read his Ph.D.
Forty-eight (48) graduated, of which thirty (30) graduated with an Advanced Certificate in Theology and Management, and eighteen (18) graduated with a Certificate in Ministry. Out of the graduating students, 85.5% were male and 14.5% were females.
Emerging the Overall Best Student was Abraham Arkaah.
Joining the CLC graduation were seventy-two (72) students who graduated from the various tertiary universities in Ghana of which twelve (12) were graduating with First Class Honours.
CLC is affiliated with the Trinity Theological Seminary. It provides mentorship and direction to the College and admits graduates who excel to continue their studies.
"The College runs two programs in line with the approved curriculum of the oversight institutions. The one-year course leads to a Certificate in Ministry and the two-year course leads to an Advanced Certificate in Theology and Management. Classes are held in the evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with weekend classes on Saturdays." The Principal stated.
