“So Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, “Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favour.” And she said to her, “Go, my daughter.” Then she left and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.”
Ruth 2:2-3 NKJV
Around this time, Naomi, and Ruth, her
daughter-in-law had left Moab and returned to Bethlehem at the beginning of the barley harvest. At that point in their lives, they had lost everything and had nothing. Ruth then decided to go and work in the fields, eventually ending up in the field of Boaz, a man of great wealth and the rest is history.
These events were divinely orchestrated by the grace of God. Grace is defined as the manifestation of favour from a higher authority. It is the unmerited favour from God. Grace does not come from men but from God. There is an invisible hand of God that guides and directs your steps in order for grace to locate you.
When grace locates you, it takes you to your divine destination. It takes you where God wants you to be. There should be no day in your life where you do not ask God for grace in your academics, marriage and business etc. This is because it is by grace that we receive uncommon favour.
I pray for you this week that may the favour of God lead you to your divine destination in Jesus’ name.
Amen!
