THE SEASON OF THE DOUBLE (Double Portion)

“Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.”
Isaiah 61:7 NKJV
The double portion blessing is not just about getting more; it represents receiving God’s abundant favour and authority. It is an inheritance for spiritual firstborns, those called to lead and serve in God’s kingdom.
As children of God, He is always ready to give us a double. We see from our scripture today that in the season of the double portion blessing:
1. God promises to replace your shame and pain with double honour.
2. God will move you into a higher realm of spiritual responsibility and influence.
3. God blesses us with an overflow of His provision for us to bless others.
To receive this blessing, we must desire a deeper relationship with Him and position ourselves strategically. This week, we will explore the double portion blessing and how to access it. I pray that the Lord will restore and honour you and make you a blessing to others, in Jesus' name. Amen.
