"When He finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of Testimony, slabs of stone, written with the finger of God."
Exodus 31:18

In John 8, we encounter the story of a woman caught in adultery and according to the law of Moses, was to be stoned to death. Jesus' view was sought and in response, He stooped down and wrote with his finger. After this simple act, the punishment according to the law was halted.

Jesus, writing with His finger, caused a shift. We can see in the scripture above that the laws of Moses were written by the very finger of God. How then was it that, after Jesus wrote with His finger for this woman's sake, judgement according to the law was not executed? This then suggests that He rewrote the judgment and saved her from condemnation.

We may have met certain negative laws in our families, societies and lives. Being in Christ gives us the opportunity to rewrite these laws and judgements by the very finger of God.

All you need to do, is call upon God and ask Him to rewrite any negative law speaking against you or your family. Like the woman in John 8, you will see a significant change.

Pray with me: Father, cause your finger to rewrite any negative law at work in my life in the name of Jesus, Amen.
