STAY IN THE BLOOD (The Power in the Blood)
“So Joshua spared Rahab, the prostitute, and her relatives who were with her in the house because she had hidden the spies Joshua sent to Jericho. And she lives among the Israelites to this day.”
Joshua 6:25 NLT
After the Israelites invaded Jericho, they kept the promise the two spies made to Rahab and spared her life and that of her entire family. The power in the blood of Jesus (represented by the scarlet rope) spoke preservation and protection over her entire household.
Today, I declare that the blood of Jesus will speak for you in the same way it has spoken for me and my family countless times. You will be preserved and protected. Where there is death and destruction, you and your loved ones will be spared. No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper in the mighty name of Jesus.
In addition to her deliverance from death, Rahab went on to become a key historical figure. Through her faith in the power of the blood, she became an ancestor of Jesus and is one of only five women mentioned in the genealogy of Christ in Matthew 1:5. This year, you will not only be spared from destruction; the power in the blood of Jesus will also cause you to exploit and accomplish notable achievements.
I pray, may the power in the blood nullify every plan of the enemy against your life, in Jesus' name. #Amen
