“I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have destroyed all your enemies before your eyes. Now I will make your name as famous as anyone who has ever lived on the earth!”

One of the benefits of receiving God's glory upon your life is that His presence stays with you. Wherever we see the glory of God, His presence is strong in that place.

In 1 Kings chapter 8, at the dedication of the temple which Solomon had built, the priests lifted up worship and praise unto God as they carried the ark of the covenant into the temple. The ark of the covenant represents the presence of God in the Old Testament. So as God's presence entered the temple amidst worship, the glory of the Lord filled the temple according to verse 11.

In an atmosphere of worship and praise, God's presence descends and His glory is revealed. David was a man who loved to worship, hence God's presence was always with Him. This made the glory to be seen all around him.

If we can adopt the lifestyle of David, i.e., giving God our uninhibited worship and shouts of praise, His presence will remain with us and we shall see His glory in our lives.

Today, I urge you to develop a habit of worshipping God and constantly creating a Spirit-filled atmosphere around you for His presence to dwell with you and you shall see His glory in your life.
