LORD, I SURRENDER (I surrender)

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20 KJV
In today’s passage, Paul teaches us that when we submit/surrender to God, though we are crucified, in Him we live victorious lives.
To surrender means to submit to a powerful influence. Surrender to God brings success.
To succeed, you must:
1. Submit your will to God- the instinct that makes you choose something over another.
2. Submit your desires to Him- the instinct that make you chase after materialism.
3. Submit your pride to Him- that which makes you feel superior to everyone.
4. Submit your independence to Him- that which makes you feel untouchable.
5. Submit your life for crucifixion- die to the flesh.
Until you learn to surrender totally, you will fight unnecessary battles in life. Surrender to God, and He will establish you. I pray that the Lord will grant you victory as you surrender to Him.
