I HAVE NO MAN (Your Problem is not Your Identity)

#SamKorankyeAnkrah

“Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The man in John 5 was only identified as,  “a certain man with an infirmity for 38 years”. His name was not mentioned anywhere in the Bible, and neither was his tribe or heritage. He was simply identified by his problem.

Now, I know that some of you may relate to this. You may only be identified as the “barren woman ” or “the poor man, ” and you may actually begin to accept that identity. But beware, because these are tricks of the devil; to reduce you to your problem; to take away your self-esteem, and to take away your faith.

The day is coming when you’ll rise above that problem. God will instantly transform your life and your original identity will be restored.

“When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
‭‭John‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Shall we Pray,
Lord, we thank You for this revelation that our problems do not define our identity. We pray for restoration of our divine purpose and grace to overcome all challenges in Jesus's name. Amen
