GUARDING YOUR FAITH (Prayer is the Key)

#SamKorankyeAnkrah

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”

‭‭Daniel‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In the preceding verses before our scripture for consideration, we see a plot that was devised to target Daniel. A decree had been established that whoever petitions any god or man except King Darius, for the next thirty days, be cast into the den of lions.

It was a plot to frustrate Daniel because he was just so excellent!

Now Daniel being a man of prayer went to his room, just as he had always done and prayed to God. Alas! He fell into the trap that was laid for him, but Daniel was unfazed by the judgment that was going to be pronounced on him.

Believers are encouraged many times in the Bible to pray; it is very important in keeping us steadfast in our faith.

The world’s perversion grows rampant each day, just as the Bible prophesied and we are witnessing it. Prayer is our key to stay firm.

What do you do when your faith is challenged?

Do you cower in fear? Or do you raise higher the banner of your faith.

I encourage you today to take a stand for your faith. When many are choosing the wide and appealing path, you will be empowered to take the narrow path that leads to everlasting life!

Amen!
