GUARDING YOUR FAITH (Only Jesus can satisfy)
“Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.””
John 4:13-14 NKJV
We often find ourselves moving from one place to another in search of something, believing that once we obtain it, we will finally be satisfied.
Yet we obtain what we thought would bring satisfaction, and we still feel dissatisfied.
Unfortunately, some of us, in our quest for satisfaction, engage in actions that don’t align with our faith.
How can you guard your faith when you are yearning for everything else but Christ?
Properties, fame, and fortune, although not evil, can not give you the satisfaction you desire.
There’s a quote that says there is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every person that can only be filled by God!
Jesus himself said that whoever drinks the water he offers will be forever satisfied.
Hallelujah! Your search has come to an end!
Jesus is calling unto you to take a drink from him today and experience the true satisfaction he gives.
I pray for you that you will experience what it means to be truly satisfied by Jesus Christ in Jesus' name.
