“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV
Picture a lion targeting its prey in the wild. It usually goes after prey that has strayed and is isolated from the pack. The isolation makes the prey more vulnerable to overpower because they don’t have the strength in numbers the pack provides. This can be likened to believers who are always in isolation, straying, or far from the pack.
The Bible says the enemy is like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.
The gathering of saints as believers is very important for our overall spiritual well being; most especially for purposes of accountability, guarding our faith and holding us up in times of struggle.
Jesus said that we are all parts of His body. We all need each other to survive. Do not be quick to give excuses when you have to find yourself in the gathering of the saints. See it as an avenue to be strengthened by other believers.
I pray that you will always stay connected with the brethren in Jesus' Name!
Amen
