EVEN AT THE ELEVENTH HOUR (Divine Revelation)

#SamKorankyeAnkrah

"‭And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”

Luke 23:41 NKJV‬

On the cross, Jesus Christ was mocked and laughed at. It was almost natural for the two robbers crucified on his left and right to join in and mock him because they had nothing to lose after all. They were condemned to death and knew there was no salvation for them.

One of them however, received eternal salvation at the eleventh hour, just before Jesus died.  And from the verse above, we can see that he began to see things differently from all the others who had gathered there. His spiritual eyes were opened and he caught a divine revelation about the man who was hanging next to him. He realised that the man was not a sinner like him and was dying for a greater purpose.

The revelation that this robber caught caused him to engage Jesus making him receive redemption at last.

Walking in divine revelation is an important trait in the life of a christian which should not be underestimated. We must allow and ask the Lord to reveal Himself and situations to us so we can make informed choices.

A Christian walking without revelation is like an explorer walking without a map. Sometimes, we may be locked up in a negative cycle because we are unaware of what is happening in the supernatural. We must always go to God asking that His Spirit will reveal hidden things to us and lead us in the right way.

Remember, having the Holy Spirit and receiving revelations from Him is the advantage you have as a child of God. Do not take it for granted, your eleventh hour shift hinges on it!

Prayer

Father, cause me to receive deeper revelations from your Spirit in this season in Jesus name, Amen.
