EVEN AT THE ELEVENTH HOUR (A Heart of Resolve )

#SamKorankyeAnkrah

“‭But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him".

Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

This week, we have looked at certain things that the robber did to receive his salvation at the eleventh hour. He caught a revelation about Jesus, recognised an opportunity for salvation and started a relationship with him. Today, let's discuss one of the last things he did that brought his salvation; he had resolved.

The word resolve means to have a strong determination or to make a firm decision to do something. There was a lot going on around Jesus at the time the robber engaged him. Jesus was hanging on the cross crucified, after days of torture and other inhumane treatments. He was being mocked and getting close to his final moments but this robber determined to catch Jesus' attention and receive his salvation at all cost.

Sometimes when we go through negative situations, it is almost natural to get tired and want to give up when we don't see any change. It is easy to think the miracle is not your portion when the odds are not in your favour.

However, this is where a determined heart comes in. To resolve to see change no matter how long it takes or how late it seems. Tell yourself that you will enter into your season of divine shift no matter the hurdles.

Don't allow anything to stop you, the waters have been stirred for you. Just jump in and claim your shift!

Prayer

Father,, give me the grace to have a heart of resolve and not to give up. I claim my divine shift in Jesus's name, Amen.
