DIVINE ENCOUNTER (Positioning Yourself For A Divine Shift) #SamKorankyeAnkrah

#SamKorankyeAnkrah

“But at midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly, there was a great earthquake, so the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭25‬-‭26‬

Having a divine encounter means hearing from God or experiencing His power in various ways.
To have this encounter, you must position yourself strategically. Strategically positioning yourself means to be at the right place at the right time and doing the right things.

One way to position yourself strategically is by being in the gathering of the saints. Our scripture today tells us how Paul and Silas were in prison at the same time. I believe strongly that, because they were like-minded people, it was easy for them to agree and allow the move of God.
Being in the same place with like-minded people allows you to agree on the same things, which can easily aid the flow of the spirit of God. This is why scripture says we should not forsake the gathering of the saints.

Another thing they did was they prayed and worshipped God. Praying and praising God will always position you for divine encounters. Although Paul and Silas did not flee despite having the opportunity to do so, they eventually regained their freedom. They were begged to leave because God came through for them.

Another way you can position yourself is by being faithful and true to God at all times. Scripture makes us understand that everybody who has been given a task is expected to be faithful. Our faithfulness to God touches His heart and shows Him our devotion. This allows Him to easily come through for us.

May you have a divine encounter this season in Jesus name, Amen!
